I've never been good with my homemaking skills... sewing, baking, cooking = not my thing. A few months back though, I made my first rag quilt for my nephew Max. So, you can just call me Martha now. I was pretty impressed with myself. Of course I didn't do it alone. My sister in law Marie taught me how. Anyway, I think it turned out pretty cute... I may even make a few more in the future. Simple as the pictures make it look, it took me a lot of work. Probably 4 or 5 hours, which is a lot for a new crafter like myself. I love the feeling of accomplishment it gave me. Go me!
